He joined the staff in 2021 and looks forward to dedicating his full attention to nurturing even more youth and families as they grow in their faith.
Children and Family Ministry
Stacy has been a member of St. Matthew since she was around 5 years. She grew up in the church from singing in children’s choir, to attending Sunday School, to being an acolyte, and completing the Girl Scout program. Upon graduating high school, Stacy attended Messiah College (now University) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and several years later earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Stacy’s passion of working with children and adolescents led her to a career at Hoffman Homes for Youth, where she has worked since 2002. During her time there she has worked directly with the children, supervised the staff, was a psychotherapist, and most recently has moved into the role as the Vice President of Clinical & Residential Programs.
In her spare time, Stacy enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her furbaby Jersey, as well as traveling and learning/seeing historical sites and God’s majestic creation. She also has a creative side which includes a love of music (she is a member of the St. Mathew Ringers), painting, and scrapbooking.
