St. Matthew Concert Series
We are pleased to announce the following line-up of upcoming concerts to be held at St. Matthew Lutheran Church. All will in some way involve the Austin pipe organ, one of the ten largest pipe organs in the world. The instrument, has undergone a major five-year renovation, and has been played by many of the world's finest organists. It is notable in the history of organ building. Several recordings have been made on the organ and the instrument can be heard regularly in worship, as well as in concerts, tours for children, Christmas Concerts, bus tours and programs for retirement homes.
No tickets are required at any of our concerts.

Tyler Canonico-Dilley, Organ | Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
"One of the east coast's finest concert organists and church musicians," Tyler Canonico-Dilley serves as Minister of Music and Worship at Market Square Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He promises to bring his signature versatility to our organ for an afternoon of diverse repertoire. Reception to follow.
Silent Film with Organ Accompaniment feat. organist Tedde Gibson | Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
Maryland-based Tedde Gibson performs live accompaniment to silent films across the country. Mr. Gibson will accompany the 1925 classic Phantom of the Opera starring Lon Chaney, which will be unique and unforgettable experience. Reception to follow.
Christmas at St. Matthew | Sunday, Dec. 20, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
Celebrate the season in our beautifully decorated Nave with Christmas favorites and classics performed by the musicians of St. Matthew, audience carol singing, and the glorious colors of our Austin pipe organ.
Joseph Martin and Friends Concert | Friday, Jan. 15, 2027 at 7:00 p.m.
As part of the Music in the Valley conference, Joseph Martin and Friends, along with a mass choir, will present an evening of uplifting music and celebration.
One World, One Beat | Sunday, March 7, 2027 at 4:00 p.m.
A celebration of peace, love, and unity, this concert brings together local musicians and ensembles to make music and advocate for peace in our world.
The Chenault Organ Duet | Sunday, April 11, 2027 at 4:00 p.m.
Raymond and Elizabeth Chenault, “The World’s Premiere Duo-Organ Team,” have concertized extensively throughout the United States and in Europe, and have commissioned and premiered over 70 organ duets. They will present an exciting program of music for four hands and four feet on our organ. Reception to follow.
Hershey Handbell Ensemble | Sunday, May 2, 2027 at 4:00 p.m.
Formed in 2004, this fifteen-member ensemble is based in south-central Pennsylvania and performs under the direction of Dr. Shawn Gingrich. This premier handbell ensemble will present its spring program in our glorious space.
Choral Concert | Sunday, May 16, 2027 at 4:00 p.m.
Our own Adult Choir, joined by singers from the surrounding community, will present an exciting choral concert featuring both singers and instrumentalists.
