Discovery Place Preschool has been an active outreach ministry for the Hanover area since 1995. We are an extension of St. Matthew Lutheran Church's Christian Education program, and we support the church's vision to, "Celebrate God's Love and Serve in Jesus' Name."

Our preschool's mission statement is to, "Provide a positive preschool experience where children can develop spiritually, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically in a fun, loving and secure environment." We celebrate that each child is a unique and glorious gift from God. Our staff recognizes the importance of building positive relationships with each student and their parents/guardians. Our common goal is to provide an environment that allows each child to experience success, grow in self-confidence, and develop a love of school and learning. We currently offer preschool classes for three and four-year-old children.
