St. Matthew Offers a Place for Everyone
Our Groups
Women of the ELCA Bible Study
Meets the first Tuesday of most months in the Lounge in the Administration Building. They discuss the Bible study found in "gather", the Women of the ELCA monthly magazine. They share fellowship and plan projects such as the Fair Trade Coffee, Tea, and Chocolate Bar sale, the proceeds of which go to support farmers in developing countries.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Ladies knit and crochet at home and meet periodically in the Lounge in the Administration Building for devotions while they knit and crochet. The shawls are blessed during one of our Sunday worship services and then given wherever the need arises.
Faith Connections
Held every Sunday during the school year from 9:30-10:25 am for ages 2-102. See Faith Connections on the website for descriptions of various classes and for locations.
Youth
All 6th through 12th graders are invited to all youth activities. Please click the Youth link.

A Few of Our Regular Activities
Caroling to Shut-ins
We share our cheer to these special people on a Sunday evening, usually the week before Christmas. Hot chocolate follows.
Hanging of the Greens
Decorating the church for Christmas. Held in mid December on Sunday afternoon with supper afterward.
Snack Town Street Fair (formerly Dutch Days)
A large yard sale held in Fellowship Hall during Hanover’s annual Dutch Days on a Saturday afternoon in September.
